It has the same convenience and operating temperature (250[degrees]F) as the previous model, but now comes in a space-saving, modern design and is UL approved. Simply immerse a sterile laryngeal mirror into the glass beads for 3 to 5 seconds, then allow the mirror to cool for a few seconds before examinations. The Glass Bead Mirror Warmer is the same height and has the same footprint as the previous model, making it compatible with existing cutouts in ENT examination cabinets. It is shipped with a bag of glass beads and is backed by a 1-year warranty.
